Las Vegas Market 2018
Ashley HomeStore’s social media team selected a few trends to showcase at the 2018 Las Furniture Market with the goal of creating an interactive experience. I collaborated with the team and planned to set up trend stations across the market’s showroom. We ultimately decided that each trend station should have a tag with a pin code—that way when scanned, the code would lead them to an Ashley-curated Pinterest board for that trend.
Creating an overall experience was instrumental in showing our potential buyers that Ashley is not only on top of trends in the furniture industry but innovators as well. This experience also allows Ashley to show more in a limited space—the showrooms can only hold so many looks and by linking our displays to online mood boards that can be accessed immediately, we are showcasing many more furniture pieces and inspirational content than ever. To bring this plan to cohesion, I was tasked with writing snappy copy on each of the pin code tags.
Las Vegas Market 2017
As a Copywriter for the Creative Services team at Ashley, I received many intermittent requests for marketing copy assets. I was tasked with creating messaging for Ashley Furniture’s youth entrance at the 2017 Las Vegas Furniture Market. To emulate the playful mood, I came up with “Tweet, Play, Love” and “Dreamer, Doer, Friend.”, which can be seen on the digital mockups below.
